The best sparkling wines for an aperitif
Deciding what to drink for an aperitif is an important issue. Many prefer white wines, as they are fresh, young and very light. The aperitif wines par excellence, however, are sparkling wines, which go divinely with any type of appetizer, be it sweet or savoury, baked or fried. At Signorvino you will find a wide selection of Italian sparkling wines for all tastes. From the fragrant, bubbly Prosecco di Valdobbiadene, to the velvety, elegant Franciacorta Satén, not forgetting the more sought-after Trento Doc and Alta Langa.
Snacks for an aperitif
There can be no aperitif without snacks and finger food, which is why we have decided to give you some ideas of possible pairings with sparkling wines. These wines go well with a fritto misto of battered vegetables, stuffed olives or fresh mini mozzarella balls. Alternatively, you can create simple grissini with prosciutto crudo, flakes of parmesan and season everything with a few drops of balsamic vinegar. For the health-conscious, we recommend simple grilled courgette rolls filled with soft goat’s cheese. If you’re short on time, you can serve a platter of mature cheeses or a tray of sandwiches. Have fun finding your favourite bubbly!
