Wonderfully active production, inextricably linked to Mont Blanc, has always characterised the work of the Cave de Mont Blanc winery. In over thirty years of activity, in fact, the company has specialised in classic method production of sparkling wines, focusing on the enhancement of the queen white grape of the Aosta Valley. This delicate process gives rise to Priè Blanc, one of the very few still ungrafted varieties that survived the phylloxera of the late 19th century.
In the past ten years of activity, the winery has wanted to further reinforce its close relationship with Mont Blanc by starting production of a small reserve of sparkling wine using the classic method. The particularity of this wine lies in its strategic position: production takes place at an altitude of over 2000 metres. The temperature, the different atmospheric pressure and the unusual processing conditions give the wine unique characteristics, all waiting to be discovered.
