Production

Rosso Piceno is a dry red wine made from 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese grapes. The wine is produced only in the best vintages. The must is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks before being transferred to oak barrels to age for a year.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Deep red in colour, it has an inviting nose with hints of ripe red and black fruit, along with notes of liquorice and black cherry. Sweet spice and black pepper, finishing with a subtle hint of tobacco. On the palate, it is elegant and moderately lively with good tannic structure.

Occasion and Pairing

A red wine from the Marche region to pair with meat-based first and main courses and game, and recommended for special lunches with friends and family.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.
