Azienda Donnafugata was established in Sicily by the Rallo family, whose passion has raised the profile of Sicilian wine all over the world. A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this sparkling Brut Millesimato is produced in limited production quantities and is distinguished by its elegance, starting from the label, which features a gently smiling woman, and ending with the palate, which is complex and fresh with a persistent length. After resting on the lees for 36 months, it has a bright, straw yellow colour in the glass with a fine perlage. On the nose, it has a captivating fusion of delicate floral and citrus notes with fragrant hints that are reminiscent of the bakery. On the palate, it is satisfying, fresh, but with a good structure. It has a great drinkability which simply tempts the drinker to take another sip... and another! This wine is ideal for enjoying a refined aperitif with friends and perfect for pairing with raw seafood, shellfish, vegetarian cuisine, and fish dishes.
