Bariselli’s Franciacorta Rosé Camouflage is crafted from a careful selection of Pinot Noir grapes, grown in the estate’s own vineyards in the heart of Franciacorta. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with a brief maceration on the skins, necessary to give the wine its characteristic rosé colour and a more structured aromatic profile. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by the second fermentation according to the Metodo Classico, with a long ageing on the lees in the bottle which enriches the wine with complexity and finesse. The Rosé Brut dosage enhances balance, freshness and varietal character. E=100 ml: 294 kJ / 71 kcal
Visually, it presents a delicate cherry-pink colour and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers elegant aromas of small red fruits, wild strawberries and redcurrants, accompanied by notes of citrus, bread crust and subtle hints of spice. On the palate, it is fresh and structured, with a creamy effervescence, a pleasant savouriness and a harmonious, persistent finish, in which the fruity notes return.
A highly versatile Franciacorta, ideal as an elegant aperitif but also throughout a meal. It pairs perfectly with flavourful fish dishes, shellfish, delicate cured meats, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.
