Aged for 5 years on the lees, it shines in the glass with a straw-yellow colour, veined with subtle golden highlights, and the perlage is extremely elegant, fine and persistent. On the nose, there is great aromatic richness: hints of Renetta apple and citrus, white peach, almond blossom and toasted notes make you really want to savour it. On the palate, freshness and persistence are perfectly balanced, whilst the finish has a slight almond note.
Pair it with fatty cured meats, and fish and shellfish dishes and starters. It is sure to be a wonderful surprise when served during an aperitif with friends.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.
