TASTING NOTES

The Rosso del Sebino Pinero di Ca' del Bosco is one of the top wines of Maurizio Zanella’s winery, the result of the best selections of three vineyards in the heart of Franciacorta planted exclusively with Pinot Noir. After aging in wood for about eleven months, the wine will rest in the bottle for a long time before seeing the light and being put on the market. Pinot Noir is the cross and delight of every winemaker, the biggest challenge. Sebino Rosso di Ca' del Bosco brings in the glass aromas of black currant, blackberry, oriental spices and bourbon vanilla. In the mouth it is soft and delicate, round. Excellent in combination with noble poultry, or with caciucco alla livornese. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Ca' del Bosco

An indisputable point of reference for Franciacorta and an example of excellence in the panorama of italian sparkling wines, Ca’ del Bosco is the protagonist of a story that smacks of fairy tales. It was the mid-sixties when Annamaria Clementi Zanella signed the deed of purchase of a small country house, in the municipality of Erbrusco, surrounded by a chestnut forest. A few years later, the intuition of her son Maurizio transformed it into one of the most famous wineries in the area. The constant search for quality pursued by Maurizio results in measures that allow the Ca' del Bosco winery to stand out from many others. The cultivation of over 200 hectares of vineyards is organized and divided respecting the characteristics of the land. Many plots are dedicated to natural cultivation, thanks to the growing adoption of sustainable practices. Furthermore, an entire area dedicated to art has been set up inside the cellar, where sculptures and other works contribute to creating the magic of the place and act as a continuous source of inspiration. The Ca’ del Bosco sparkling wines, as well as both white and red wines, are perfect for celebrating an important occasion: their unmistakable and balanced notes are the result of a skilful and measured dosage and work done with passion. Savor the elegance of Ca’ del Bosco wines: visit our dedicated page and choose the perfect sparkling wine or wine for any occasion. Discover all Franciacorta wines.
