TASTING NOTES

Zerdì falls under the name IGT Benaco Bresciano Rosso and is made with the vine Rebo, a grape that comes from the crossing between the Merlot and the Teroldego and takes its name from the agronomist Rigotti, which neither perfected hybridization. After a first fermentation of the must in steel, the wine is placed in barrels of 500 liters never new to complete the malolactic fermentation, after a year of rest in the same is bottled, ready to be drunk. The glass has a nice dark and deep ruby color, the grape is rich in anthocyanins, the scent recalls plum, cherry, blackberry with spicy notes and black pepper. The aging woods smooth out the most angular nuances and enrich without ever being protagonists. The sip is full, fruity, has structure and great drink. Perfect on carne juicy, ravioli of braised or with salumi cured meats. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 14/16 ºC.
