Production

The vinification of Barolo from the municipality of Serralunga takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately 18–20 days. Ageing is traditional, in 25–30 hl Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Barolo from the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba is garnet in colour with orange highlights. On the nose, it is highly complex, with notes of leather, hay, earth and spices. On the palate, it offers a fine balance between acidity and tannins, lending it a smooth texture and good length.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal when paired with red meat dishes or even a pasta dish with meat sauce.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.
