TASTING NOTES

Production

Cartizze Superiore Dry is made from 100% Glera grapes, sourced from vineyards on a small plot known as Cartizze. The grapes are harvested by hand, followed by vinification using the Charmat method in steel tanks. A period of 30 to 90 days on the lees completes the production process for this Cartizze. 100 ml E=305 kJ/73 kcal

Organoleptic Characteristics

Bortolomiol Cartizze Dry has a straw-yellow colour, made brilliant by a long and persistent perlage. Its intense bouquet reveals notes of honey, white flowers, exotic fruit and a very refreshing citrus undertone. The harmony between nose and palate is almost perfect. The palate is creamy and smooth, yet well-balanced by freshness and savouriness.

Occasion and Pairing

Exuberant and elegant, it is the ideal Prosecco for toasting on festive occasions. Also ideal with delicate fish starters or a dessert.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Bortolomiol

With origins dating back to the second half of the 1700s in the hills of Valdobbiadene, the Bortolomiol winery has always invested in the quality and future of Prosecco in its designation, values proudly upheld by the four daughters of Giuliano Bortolomiol, founder of the current sparkling wine company. When Bartolomeo Bortolomiol, the forefather of the prestigious winemaking family, began cultivating the first rows of vines, he probably never imagined that his name would echo through the centuries as a synonym for Italian tradition and excellence. The unmistakable notes of Bortolomiol's Prosecco Superiore are the result of constant research and attention to detail, pursued by a team with the utmost expertise in winemaking, that follows the entire production process from the vine to the bottle. Such solid roots are combined with innovative projects that guarantee that this Veneto winery will be a success, from generation to generation. Thanks to Bortolomiol's organic production, the earth is preserved and protected, ensuring a low environmental impact.
