THE WINERY

Il Poggiarello

In 1882, the meeting between a farmer and a carpenter sealed the birth of Il Poggiarello winery. After one hundred years in which generations and different ways of cultivating vines followed one another, the great-grandchildren of the founders took over the company, taking up the challenge to reorganise it and revive it. The area of Emilia-Romagna where the Il Poggiarello winery is located is already particularly well suited to viticulture. The hills of Piacenza, on which the company's 13 hectares of vineyards are located, are known and respected for the excellent wines they produce. In a place where natural beauty and winegrowing vocation blend to perfection, a stone building from the 19th century, housing the tavern and the wine cellar, takes centre stage. Sipping a glass of good red, surrounded by a delightful panorama, it is possible to bear witness to all the care and devotion that guides the managers and that has enabled them to position themselves in Italian and foreign markets in just a few years. Name and address of producer/distributor: Il Poggiarello - Loc.Poggiarello, 1, 29020 Fraz.Scrivellano, Travo (PC). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
