TASTING NOTES

Production

The fermentation of the musts takes place in wooden barrels at temperatures that are never too high, allowing for the extraction of the full aromatic potential and the right color from the grapes. The Pinot Nero Riserva ages in barriques for a brief period of 6 months, complementing the wine and the varietal without becoming the main focus.

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, it presents an intense ruby color and reveals aromas of cherry, raspberry, and currant on the nose. The finish continues with notes of clove and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with a structure that is both agile and firm, and the flavor is consistent with the nose. Soft with a good length on the finish.

The design of the building symbolises the quality and excellence of Alto Adige wines, the first CasaClima Wine®-certified wine cellar. It is here that the winegrowers dedicate themselves to making the wines of Kellerei Bozen unique, combining new knowledge and ancient traditions. Characterised by constant dedication, care before and after harvest and maturation of the wine in the cellars, under the watchful eye of experienced winegrowers, Cantina Bolzano offers an inimitable selection of fine wines. The diversity of the Alto Adige wine region, which is expressed in the nature and wines of the region, offers favourable conditions for the cultivation of varied, quality wines, from the white Gewürztraminer to Alto Adige red wines such as Pinot Noir.
