TASTING NOTES

Letrari is a historic Trentino company whose family roots go back as far as 1647 in Borghetto d'Avio, on the banks of the Adige river. This is an area with a special terroir and unique Vallagarina microclimate. The environment is characterised by the Adige river and is influenced by the Ora del Garda wind, which creates the unusual Mediterranean-type microclimate. The Letrari farm, with its 23 hectares, cultivates Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to produce Trentino Metodo Classico sparkling wines. Letrari's Dosaggio Zero Riserva Trento DOC is a vintage obtained from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir harvested exclusively by hand, with at least 36 months on yeasts to enhance its structure and elegance. The wine has a bright straw yellow colour. On the nose it offers a broad aromatic profile ranging from bread crust to ripe apple and dried fruit. On the palate it is soft, sensual and with a fine, persistent perlage that never tires. A great choice for a romantic dinner, it goes well with fish and shellfish dishes.
