La Spinetta is a highly prestigious Italian winery with roots in two important Italian regions, Piedmont and Tuscany. From the 1980s onwards, the winery began working with red grape varieties as well: Barbera, Barbaresco and Nebbiolo, respecting the terroir and meticulously cultivating certain crus to produce exceptional Piedmontese red wines. The project continued into the 2000s in Tuscany with Casanova della Spinetta, cultivating Sangiovese. Spinetta’s Toscana Vermentino IGT is made from 100% Vermentino grapes and aged in steel vats on its lees for around 5 months, to give the wine greater complexity. The vineyards are situated on sandy soil with marine sediments, which lend the wine a highly aromatic profile. 100 ml: E=290 kJ/69 kcal
