Situated in the heart of the Piedmont countryside, the Vajra estate enjoys a unique microclimate, on clay-rich soil, and has always been dedicated to sustainable agriculture. A wine born from a blend in the vineyard, where multiple varieties grow side by side to be harvested and vinified together. The grapes used to make Langhe Dragon are the first to be harvested from Baudana’s vineyards, a terroir consisting of marl and white clay on the surface with blue veins in the subsoil. After fermenting for around 10–15 days in vertical steel tanks, Langhe Bianco Dragon is then aged in tanks from the spring following the harvest. This is the time needed to achieve the harmony and aromatic freshness that distinguish this Langhe white. 100ml: E = 325kJ/78kcal
Bright straw yellow in colour, it offers floral and fruity aromas, evoking summer meadows, with mineral notes on the finish. Dry, warm and savoury on the palate, with a crisp and balanced freshness.
Excellent as an aperitif, Langhe Dragon pairs well with delicate first courses, such as vegetable veloutés or creams, or fish main courses.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 12–14°C.
