TASTING NOTES

The Curtefranca Bianco signed by Zanella confronts the great, without fear. The Burgundian roots of the grape continue in the cellar where the musts ferment directly in highly selected barriques, the wines will stay in the woods for another 10 months before going into the bottle. The new vintage anxiety for white wines is not expected here: the wine is put on the market on average after two and a half years of aging in bottle. This sumptuous Chardonnay has a golden green colour, a nose of white peach, hazelnut, melted butter and vanilla. The palate is intense, mineral and enveloping. One of the best Italian Chardonnay. Eclectic at the table on the cuisine of fish, risotto and mushroom soups, noble poultry and large cheeses. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 10/12 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Ca' del Bosco

An indisputable point of reference for Franciacorta and an example of excellence in the panorama of italian sparkling wines, Ca’ del Bosco is the protagonist of a story that smacks of fairy tales. It was the mid-sixties when Annamaria Clementi Zanella signed the deed of purchase of a small country house, in the municipality of Erbrusco, surrounded by a chestnut forest. A few years later, the intuition of her son Maurizio transformed it into one of the most famous wineries in the area. The constant search for quality pursued by Maurizio results in measures that allow the Ca' del Bosco winery to stand out from many others. The cultivation of over 200 hectares of vineyards is organized and divided respecting the characteristics of the land. Many plots are dedicated to natural cultivation, thanks to the growing adoption of sustainable practices. Furthermore, an entire area dedicated to art has been set up inside the cellar, where sculptures and other works contribute to creating the magic of the place and act as a continuous source of inspiration. The Ca’ del Bosco sparkling wines, as well as both white and red wines, are perfect for celebrating an important occasion: their unmistakable and balanced notes are the result of a skilful and measured dosage and work done with passion. Savor the elegance of Ca’ del Bosco wines: visit our dedicated page and choose the perfect sparkling wine or wine for any occasion. Discover all Franciacorta wines. Name and address producer/distributor: Ca' del Bosco - Via Albano Zanella, 13 - 25030 Erbusco (BS). The products from this cellar should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
