The I Clivi Malvasia comes from the vineyards of Brazzano di Cormons, which are over 80 years old. Old plants such as these are sparing in quantity but they repay by producing grapes of the highest quality, which are found in Mario Zanusso's wines. The winery dictates that even the journey made by Malvasia from vineyard to bottle takes place entirely in stainless steel. The wine ages for 12 months on fine lees before bottling. In the glass, this white wine is a beautiful golden colour. The nose is seduced by persuasive floral and fresh notes, in which the scent of chamomile flower stands out. The palate is pleasantly dry, full, mineral, and with the right length. It goes easily with fish and shellfish, seafood in general, even fried or with sauces, but it can also be enjoyed in company, for an excellent aperitif with friends.
