TASTING NOTES

Champagne Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs ages for 10 years, where cork gives the cuvée, roasted almond and coffee woody notes. With the passage of time, it expresses itself with even greater depth and aromatic complexity. More than any other Cuvée, it celebrates the savoir-faire of those who have worked on every single bottle, which is why a manual disgorgement has been carried out. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, the glass shows an intense golden color with almond green reflections. A fruity aroma evokes notes of lemon, apricot and nectarine. Notes of white flowers, almond paste and Calisson d'Aix evoke the maturity of the vintage. The whole is expressed in the palate with a pleasant balance, tasty and lively, but with a long and delicate finish. It is the effect of the combination of velvety acidity, the freshness of stone fruit and a surprising flavor. Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Dom Ruinart is perfect as an aperitif or for vegetable pasta dishes, such as spelt risotto with celeriac and black truffle. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Ruinart

One family, one spirit. Maison Ruinart was founded in 1729, when Nicolas Ruinart, taking advantage of his uncle’s institution, a Benedictine monk in Reims, founded the house that still bears his name today. Today, Ruinart is part of the LVMH group and is one of the most renowned producers of Champagne in the world. There are specific techniques that characterise the history of Maison Ruinart and reveal the essential character of an exceptional experience. At Maison Ruinart, Champagne is a product of the earth, respecting the harmony of nature and treating the fruits it offers with delicacy. The aromatic Chardonnay grape variety forms the basis of all the cuvées and its grapes come mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. Blanc de Blancs is the most representative wine for the house, first appearing in 1959. All Ruinart Champagne is matured in the crayères, the chalk quarries located 38 metres underground at a constant temperature and humidity, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dom Ruinart represents the oldest Champagne produced in history, the forefather of a legendary tradition. Name and address of producer/distributor: Ruinart - 4, rue des Crayères, 51100 Reims - France. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
