TASTING NOTES

Ruinart Brut Blanc de Blancs comes from 100% Chardonnay grapes, between 25/30 Cru with 20-30% of Reserve Wines, cultivated in the terroirs of Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The grapes for Ruinart’s Brut Blanc de Blancs are harvested by hand, followed by alcoholic fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel vats and complete malolactic fermentation. Ages from 2 to 3 years in bottle on lees. The glass has a pale golden color, enriched with almond green reflections and jade shades. At the first nose are perceived aromas of fresh fruit: ripe lemons, juicy pears or freshly picked peaches. The second nose reveals a scent of magnolia, more floral and elegant, combined with a spicy note of ginger and pink berries. A unique and harmonious texture envelops the palate, between tension and roundness. The vibrant freshness of ripe citrus and exotic fruits enhances the texture. The final mineral touch is persistent and delicate. Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is a delicate wine that combines perfectly with a fresh and refined cuisine. To fully appreciate its style, this Champagne should be served at a serving temperature of 8/10 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Ruinart

One family, one spirit. Maison Ruinart was founded in 1729, when Nicolas Ruinart, taking advantage of his uncle’s institution, a Benedictine monk in Reims, founded the house that still bears his name today. Today, Ruinart is part of the LVMH group and is one of the most renowned producers of Champagne in the world. There are specific techniques that characterise the history of Maison Ruinart and reveal the essential character of an exceptional experience. At Maison Ruinart, Champagne is a product of the earth, respecting the harmony of nature and treating the fruits it offers with delicacy. The aromatic Chardonnay grape variety forms the basis of all the cuvées and its grapes come mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. Blanc de Blancs is the most representative wine for the house, first appearing in 1959. All Ruinart Champagne is matured in the crayères, the chalk quarries located 38 metres underground at a constant temperature and humidity, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dom Ruinart represents the oldest Champagne produced in history, the forefather of a legendary tradition. Name and address of producer/distributor: Ruinart - 4, rue des Crayères, 51100 Reims - France. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
