Production

The Mesa farm is the symbol of the Sulcis area, where the maritime influence has a significant impact on the ripening of the grapes. A full-bodied single-varietal red wine, it expresses the Sardinian territory of Sulcis and its flagship grape variety: Carignano. 100 ml: E=330 kJ/ 79 kcal

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red colour, and on the nose offers fruity and balsamic notes with soft tannins and a pleasant savouriness that lends freshness to its Mediterranean soul. Soft yet fresh, it finishes with slightly balsamic undertones and good length. Its excellent value for money makes it a must-have for any wine cellar.

Occasion and Pairing

Excellent with braised red meats, game birds and mature sheep’s-milk cheeses.
