TASTING NOTES

The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG of Casanova di Neri, naturally produced with Sangiovese Grosso, ferments spontaneously in steel truncated steel vats for about 24 days and then passes into the aging woods to rest for 3 and a half years. The company’s style wants rich, powerful and defined wines. The Brunello Etichetta Bianca is the business card of Casanova di Neri, the result of the union of different terroirs and image label of a farsighted and careful vision. The glass has an intense ruby red color, the nose has dark fruits of blackberry, ripe cherry, bitter cocoa and sweet spices. On the palate it is powerful and fresh, deep and rich. The fruit comes back overbearing on the palate supported by acidity and tannins. Excellent with grilled meats and long cooking. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Casanova di Neri

An incredible land of rocks, and rich and fertile soil, makes up the seven vineyards of Casanova di Neri. The mission of the company and the winery is to maintain a process of productive and philosophical evolution at the same time, leading to the creation of Tuscan wines with a unique character. Experience and passion come together in a unique atmosphere, typical of the region. The winery's seven vineyards are located in the various areas of the Montalcino designation: from Fiesole to Cerretalto, via Collalli and Podernuovo to Pietradonice, Giovanni Neri and Cetine. The extraordinary biodiversity of the soil, the strategic positions, the variety of microclimates and the most important technological innovations give rise to a new vision of Brunello di Montalcino. The work always starts with tradition, to then enhance it and bring it into every glass, giving a different and innovative interpretation of the idea of wine.
