Giuseppe Rinaldi's Tre Tine is a Barolo DOCG made from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from three different crus, with the name deriving from the fact that legislation prohibits the listing of all three crus on the label, even though blending them is a traditional technique of the terroir. The Rinaldi family philosophy forbids the use of chemical treatments in the vineyard, and in the cellar, they favor natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts and long macerations of at least 30 days without temperature control. The Barolo Tre Tine is then aged in large oak barrels for about 42 months. With a color that ranges from red to garnet, the Barolo DOCG from Rinaldi expresses itself on the nose with notes of rosehip, cherry, and balsamic aromas. On the palate, it is robust yet refined, and with extended aging, it becomes a standout wine. It is recommended to pair with braised red meats, game, or roasted meats. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16-18°C.
