TASTING NOTES

Production

Nebbiolo is the native red grape variety of the Langhe, named for the amount of bloom that covers the skin, resembling the morning fog of October during harvest time. In Alba, after harvesting the 5 hectares of vines dedicated to this Barbaresco, the ripe Nebbiolo grapes are macerated for 10 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C. This is followed by an aging period of one year in oak barrels of varying sizes, and the wine then completes its vinification process in the bottle.

Organoleptic Characteristics

The Bric Turot is a unique, intense, and complex Barbaresco. In the glass, it showcases its orange-tinged hues in a deep ruby color. On the nose, balsamic notes dominate, with hints of cloves and cinnamon leading into a sequence of spicy nuances. On the palate, it offers a velvety yet well-structured tannin, balanced and smooth.

Occasion and Pairing

A full-bodied yet aromatic wine, perfect for the table, and an ideal match with a freshly sliced charcuterie platter.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, the Bric Turot should be served at a temperature of 14-16°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

The Prunotto company carefully manages a modern, state-of-the-art production, starting from the cultivation of its fifty hectares up to the bottling process, to offer a final product with attention to every detail.
