TASTING NOTES

Production

The Alto Adige Brut Rosé Metodo Classico ReR is a sparkling wine produced from a cuvée of Pinot Bianco, Pinot Nero, and Schilcher, divided equally depending on the vintage. The soils from which the grapes are sourced are clayey and morainic, contributing a strong sense of terroir. After fermentation, the wine rests on the lees for about 24-30 months, followed by an aging period of approximately 3 years after disgorgement.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Of a deep yellow color with fine and persistent bubbles, the nose reveals notes of underbrush with pronounced toasty hints. On the palate, it is bold with a round and persistent flavor.

Occasion and Pairing

Excellent to enjoy during an aperitif with friends, paired with fish and shellfish.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this Metodo Classico should be served at a temperature of 8-10°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Arunda

The history of the Arunda winery began in 1979, when Josef Reiterer started the production of ten thousand bottles of sparkling wine in the heart of Alto Adige, at a time when no other winery in the area produced it exclusively. This peculiarity immediately determined the success of the Arunda winery, which focuses its production using the classic method of the second fermentation of each bottle through the introduction of selected sugars and yeasts. Although Josef Perler was more inclined to build a distillery at first, he had to give in to his wife's wishes. Her correct intuition gave rise to a production that combines tradition and modernity. Even today, Perler jokingly says: "You know, women prefer pearls: and perlage it was!" The innovation, care and passion that you will find in every bottle will give you a taste of the best-loved and most authentic side of Alto Adige, and will introduce you to a whole new world of aromas.
