TASTING NOTES

Production

Made from the estate’s oldest Pinot Noir vines, hand-harvested after careful selection, the For England Rosé is characterised by an elegant pale pink colour, achieved through an hour of contact with the skins. After primary fermentation, the wine is aged until May and then bottled for secondary fermentation on its lees for approximately four years.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Precise and austere, with great power, this Pinot stands out for its surprising minerality. Orange peel, mint, cranberries and rose petals are just some of the intriguing aromas that characterise this splendid Alta Langa sparkling wine.

Occasion and Pairing

Perfect with fish and shellfish dishes, but also excellent as an aperitif or to accompany light white meat dishes.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10–12°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Contratto

The name of the Corte Aura winery is not merely a name, but the beginning of the telling of a long story, of love for one's land and of profound ties with the oldest of traditions. The word 'Corte' recalls the very etymon of the land that hosts it: Franciacorta, the cradle of some of the world's most famous vines. 'Aura', on the other hand, recalls the name of a nymph, representing all positive energy. This poetic name tells a story of passion for the land and its work, where life and vines intertwine in a unique fusion. The oldest traditions laid the basis for its foundation, and thanks to the most modern techniques, production can go ahead with full respect for the land and its resources. This meticulous work will allow you to discover the refined character of Lombardy wines in their most authentic form. Name and address of producer/distributor: Via Colzano, 13, 25030 Adro BS. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
