TASTING NOTES

Production

The grapes are harvested towards the end of September and the best bunches are fermented in steel vats and vitrified concrete tanks at a controlled temperature of 28–30 °C, with a maceration period on the skins of around twelve days. Before bottling, the wine matures for several months in steel vats. Nutritional values: Per 100ml 301 kJ (72 kcal)

Organoleptic Characteristics

This red wine is a fine representation of the Romagna region; in the glass it is an intense red colour with characteristic notes of cherry and small red fruits. On the nose, it reveals an intense bouquet, characterised by an exuberant fruity fragrance, soft hints of black cherry, floral nuances of sweet violet and delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with subtle tannins and juicy, satisfying fruit. The finish is fresh and has good length.

Occasion and Pairing

Excellent paired with lasagne with porcini mushrooms.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.

Allergens: Solfiti
