TASTING NOTES

The Rosso di Montalcino DOC of Casanova di Neri, naturally produced with Sangiovese Grosso, ferments spontaneously in steel truncated steel vats for about 18 days and then passes into the aging woods to rest for 1 year and a half. It is an important Rosso di Montalcino that comes from the cellars of Casanova di Neri. The company’s style that wants rich wines with a bursting fruit here is expressed in a more carefree but equally satisfying version. The glass has a brilliant ruby red color, the nose ranges between crunchy cherry and blackberry, the spicy set is light. The mouthfeel is round and full, the fruit dark and lively, the tannins and acidity work under the trace making the mouthfeel captivating and tasty. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC. Read more Read less
