A selection of the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from a single vintage, to best express the unique character of each vintage. Dom Pérignon excludes the possibility of producing a Vintage if the vintage is not of sufficient quality. After at least eight years of ageing, Dom Pérignon Vintage Brut Champagne achieves its perfect balance.
On the nose, it is full-bodied and complex, a blend of flowers and fruit, followed by vegetal and mineral notes. The bouquet is tactile, a subtle invitation to explore nuances of white flowers, framed by the sweetness of apricot and mirabelle plum, before evolving into rhubarb, mint and white pepper. On the palate, it is energetic and vibrant, with an elegant and lively perlage. The finish converges on acidic and bitter notes, narrowing to spicy and piquant notes of ginger, tobacco and toasted aromas.
Its charm makes it an elegant choice to pair with raw fish starters, steamed shellfish and delicate main courses.
To fully appreciate its style, this Champagne should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.
