TASTING NOTES

Production

Nino Franco's Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore Dry Primo Franco is born in the heart of the Valdobbiadene hills, from carefully selected Glera grapes in its own vineyards. The harvest is manual, with the bunches harvested at the moment of perfect ripeness to preserve freshness and aromaticity. Winemaking takes place in temperature-controlled steel, with slow fermentation to preserve aromas and delicacy. The long Charmat method gives the wine finesse, creamy bubbles and a harmonious balance between natural sweetness and freshness. The Superior designation guarantees high quality and connection with the territory.

Organoleptic Characteristics

It appears bright straw yellow when viewed, with fine, persistent perlage. On the nose you can perceive elegant scents of apple, pear, white flowers and light citrus notes. On the palate it is fresh and harmonious, with a delicate bubble, balanced sweetness and a pleasant and persistent finish, which recalls the fruity and floral sensations perceived by the sense of smell.

Occasion and Pairing

Versatile and refined wine, perfect as an aperitif, but also ideal for a full meal. It pairs beautifully with appetizers, sushi, fish dishes, shellfish, salads and light pastries.

Serving Temperature

To enhance its freshness, aromaticity and bubbly, a serving temperature of 6/8°C is recommended.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Nino Franco

The Nino Franco cellars were established at the beginning of the 20th century and have carried on their tradition ever since, handing down the passion for the land and the cultivation of wines from generation to generation. In over a century of activity, the winery has distinguished itself in the production of high-quality Veneto wines and a much-loved Prosecco, the creation of which is followed step by step. From the cultivation of the grapes to the bottling, the production steps are carefully studied to enhance the unique properties of the soil and the land. The winery is located in Valdobbiadene, on the foothills of the Pre-Alps, and the area's special microclimate is exploited to the full in order to obtain the highest quality from the final bottling. Over time, the company has been able to combine ancient knowledge with modern, cutting-edge techniques, focusing on organic and sustainable viticulture that can best respect the terroir and its special characteristics.
