TASTING NOTES

This exquisite bittersweet liqueur with real flavour comes from the lemons of Sorrento. The lemons grown by the Pollio family are the "Oval from Sorrento" variety, a succulent citrus fruit of great value. The bottles of limoncello produced at Il Convento are completely free from preservatives and colourings. Its inimitable tasting profile depends directly on the excellent quality of the lemons from which it is obtained and on the care with which the maceration takes place using the ancient recipe handed down from generation to generation. Intense yellow, fresh and velvety, very pleasant to taste, it releases all the natural scents of the PGI Sorrento Oval Lemon. A bottle to be enjoyed ice-cold at the end of a meal, after coffee, when the moment for meditation arrives. To fully appreciate the style, this Limoncello should be served at a service temperature of 10 ºC.
