Spinetta is a company of great Italian prestige that has founded its roots in two important Italian regions, Piedmont and Tuscany. From the eighties the company began to work also with red berried grapes: Barbera, Barbaresco and Nebbiolo, respecting the terroir and carefully working some cru to produce excellent Piedmontese red wines. The project then continues in the 2000s in Tuscany with Casanova della Spinetta, growing Sangiovese. Langhe Nebbiolo DOC della Spinetta is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It ages in French oak barrels, second and third passage for 12 months and continues in the bottle for about 6 months. It is a red wine with a garnet color of slight intensity, with a beautiful olfactory intensity with floral notes of rose and berries. The palate has a pleasant entry, with gentle tannins but of a good caliber. Ideal for every day, it goes well with local meats. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 18/20 ºC.
