Production

The winemaking process involves aging in oak barrels: after 12 months of maturation in barriques, the Nebbiolo continues to age for another 12 months in large barrels.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Costa Russi by Gaja presents itself in the glass with a garnet color and bright orange reflections. Intriguing and complex on the nose, it offers a range of fruity and floral sensations, ranging from blackberry to plum and violet. On the palate, it unfolds a spectrum of aromas: coffee powder, chocolate, balsamic and minty notes. The taste is full-bodied and robust, with a refined mineral sensation complemented by lively and smooth tannins.

Occasion and Pairing

Endless persistence on the finish. An excellent Barbaresco that pairs well with red meat or roasted dishes.

Serving Temperature
