Segnana is a historic distillery in Trentino which, since 1860, has been using quality raw materials to produce fine spirits. After over a century of history, in 1982 the Lunelli brothers—having become the main suppliers of pomace thanks to the activities of the prestigious Ferrari sparkling wine house—acquired the distillery, ushering in its modern success. Segnana’s Chardonnay grappa is a prestigious spirit produced from the pomace of the Chardonnay grape variety used in the production of Ferrari’s Metodo Classico sparkling wines. To preserve its characteristic bouquet, this grappa is aged exclusively in stainless steel. The alcohol content is reduced to 42% vol. using the purest waters from the Surgiva springs, sourced from the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park.
On the nose, it offers floral, herbaceous and fruity aromas, whilst on the palate it is smooth, balanced and refined.
Try it with dark chocolate, with strong cheeses or on its own at the end of a meal.
To fully appreciate its style, this grappa should be served at a temperature of 10–12°C.
