TASTING NOTES

Farina, a family that has inherited a passion for wine and carrys it forward with conviction and love. The company has 45 hectares of vineyards in the Valpolicella Classica area: 10 hectares of property and 35 hectares of historical suppliers that the Farina family considers real partners in the production of their wines. From the grape pomace of the king of wines from Valpolicella, we obtain the grappa of Amarone Farina. The fermented and selected marcs of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, Oseleta and Turchetta, after racking and a light pressing, are taken to the distillery still soaked in must and processed immediately so as to better preserve the aromas. The distillation takes place around the month of February with a discontinuous low pressure steam system. The ageing period in barriques gives the Amarone Farina grappa even more body, complex aromas and a beautiful golden colour. Intense and concentrated aromas of dried fruit on the nose. In the mouth it releases all its body, all its robustness and at the same time all its softness. Ideal after a meal, perhaps accompanying it with a good coffee or perfect as an after-dinner hug to treat yourself to a moment of relaxation after a long day at work. A so-called meditation spirit.
