The Franciacorta Satèn DOCG Vintage Collection is the most feminine expression of the sparkling wines of the Ca' del Bosco family. A Franciacorta Satèn made from only white grapes, which make it creamy and soft. Vintage Collection consisting of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Blanc, from 14 vineyards certified in organic farming. The result of a careful selection of grapes and a wise vinification carried out in full respect of the Ca' del Bosco method. The grapes, collected in crates, are selected in the vineyard and in the cellar on a sorting table and cooled in the spa of the grapes. After crushing in the absence of oxygen, all the musts of the base wines ferment in small oak barrels for 5 months to reach the maximum aromatic complexity and expressive power. The aging then follows on the lees for an average of 48 months; after 7 months from the harvest we proceed with the creation of the Cuvée. The Vintage Satèn Collection provides for the addition of sugars in smaller quantities than the other Franciacorta wines, giving a particular elegant and soft aromatic profile, further strengthened by a period of rest on the lees in the bottle. Dégorgement occurs in the absence of oxygen, using a system unique in the world, designed and patented by Ca' del Bosco, avoiding oxidative shocks and additional sulfite additions. Golden straw-yellow color, it is a wine that smells of elegance, white flowers and ripe fruit. The sip caresses the palate, with a perlage that looks like a cloud. Ideal with lobster with butter, freshly scalded scampi, risotto with shrimp bisque or excellent as an aperitif. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 10/12 ºC.
