Ferghettina's Franciacorta Satèn comes from the Franciacorta region and is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, hand-harvested and carefully selected. The wine is produced using the Metodo Classico, with a second fermentation in the bottle followed by extended ageing on the lees. Its lower pressure compared to other Franciacorta styles enhances the softness and creaminess of the bubbles, resulting in an elegant, harmonious and refined wine.
Bright straw yellow in colour, it is characterised by a fine and delicate perlage. The nose offers aromas of white flowers, citrus and white-fleshed fruit, complemented by elegant notes of bread crust and pastry. On the palate, it is soft, creamy and enveloping, with pleasant freshness, good savouriness and refined balance. The finish is clean, harmonious and persistent.
Perfect for an elegant aperitif or to accompany convivial moments and special occasions. Ideal with raw seafood, oysters and shellfish, sushi, delicate risottos, baked fish and white meat.
To fully appreciate its structure, elegance and complexity, this wine must be served at a service temperature of 6/8 °C.
