TASTING NOTES

The Champagne Brut Nature San Eize is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, obtained from vineyards located on a clay-type soil and grown organically. The grapes after harvest follow spontaneous fermentation by indigenous yeast and malolactic fermentation. The refermentation in bottle takes place according to the Champenoise method and the wine rests on the lees for 24 months. Rosé Nature San Eize Champagne has an intense straw yellow color to the glass. On the nose there are scents of yellow fruit and field herbs. References to the world of pastry remain more in the background. The palate is creamy, fresh, opulent, but fine, with beautiful persistence and great minerality. Ideal as an aperitif or with white meat, fresh cheeses. To fully appreciate its style, this Champagne should be served at a serving temperature of 8/10 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Andre Beaufort

Andre Beaufort is one of the first Champagne companies that since the end of the sixties has taken a path in contrast to the interventionist practices in the vineyard and cellar, based on the use of synthetic products and chemical agents, choosing to use only natural products and manual/ mechanical processing. All wines undergo their first fermentation in exhausted wooden vats without the use of selected yeasts. All base wines undergo malolactic fermentation. Today Andre Beaufort’s style is one of the most distinctive and recognized, capable of interpreting different terroirs ranging from the grand cru of Ambonnay, Montagne de Reims, to the emerging area of Polisy nell'Aube. Name and address manufacturer/distributor: Champagne Andre Beaufort - 2 Chem. du Ru Désiré, 10110 Polisy, France. The products of this cellar should be stored in a cool and dry place away from heat sources.
