Maison Henriot is one of the rare Champagne Houses that has stayed family-owned for a long time, located in the heart of Pierry village. Champagne Brut Millésimé is full of freshness and lightness. The balance of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay delivers subtle aromas of spring freshness, minerality and open fruit notes. The colour is light gold with brilliant reflections. The perlage is very fine and is a testament to long ageing in the wine cellar. On the nose, the bouquet is dominated by citrus and yellow fruit, peach and nectarine with a discreet floral dimension. Subtle notes of honey and candied lemon add a touch of sweetness and lend a silky character. Freshness and lightness dominate the palate. Grapefruit, apricot, citron, fresh citrus fruits come alive carrying notes of fruit jellies, yet with the constant presence of great minerality. The finish is long, fine, silky and refreshing. A resolutely low dosage gives it a very harmonious balance, perfect paired with delicate dishes.
