TASTING NOTES

Production

Moët & Chandon and Pharrell Williams delved into the Maison’s archives and discovered that in 1892, the iconic ribbon adorning the bottles was originally a sash. Now reimagined as an elegant knotted tie, it takes center stage in this special edition. For the occasion, the gift box and the neck of the Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial bottle are dressed in different colors—gold, blue, and red. The Maison’s signature typography is transformed into white lettering dotted with pearls, while the red royal seal becomes a pearl monogram. Moët Impérial Brut includes 20 to 30% reserve wines, carefully selected to ensure its complexity and consistency. The harmony of Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay delivers a perfect balance of body, smoothness, and finesse. E (100ml) = 314kJ / 75kcal

Organoleptic Characteristics

Brilliant and golden yellow in color, this Brut Champagne is highlighted by green reflections. On the nose, it reveals delicate floral, fruity (apple, pear), and citrus aromas. As it opens up, the bouquet becomes more complex, releasing notes of brioche and fresh nuts. Subtle yet generous on the palate, it combines refreshing fruit flavors (stone fruit) with a savory texture and beautiful balance. The persistent finish delights with its precision and liveliness.

Occasion and Pairing

Moët & Chandon's Brut Impérial Champagne pairs harmoniously with seafood, delicate fish, and white meats, as well as cheeses and light desserts.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 6–8°C.

THE WINERY

Moët & Chandon

Since 1743 Moët e Chandon has shared the art of success and glamour around the world. Maison Moët e Chandon was founded by Claude Moët, and today represents one of the largest Champagne producers in the world and becoming the global icon of French bubbles. Tradition, generosity, savoir-faire, boldness, and elegance are the values that still define the Maison's global appeal. Built on limestone soil at a depth of between 10 and 30 meters, the Maison's cellars are the largest in the Champagne region and are an ideal place to store ripe bottles. Unlike most Champagnes, Moët e Chandon's Grand Vintages are made with qualitatively high-quality grapes from an exceptional vintage. Three main blends are used in the assembly of the entire Moët e Chandon line: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Moët's winemaking savoir-faire consists of a manual harvest and the blending of wines from various areas, grape varieties, and vintages. This is followed by a period of refinement in the Maison's underground cellars. The most delicate phase consists of riddling and dégorgement, led by Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez. Try the wines from this winery such as Champagne Brut Impérial. Name and address manufacturer/distributor: Moët e Chandon, 20 avenue de Champagne, 51200 Epernay - France. The products of this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
