TASTING NOTES

Barolo Falletto di Bruno Giacosa is made, as expected by the Appellation, from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, a visiting card in the world. The merit of this great quality comes from a strict selection of the best grapes and a long aging for 30 months in French oak barrels. Its intense garnet color conveys austere elegance and nobility. The nose reveals overwhelming notes of cherries and blackberries, spicy notes and truffle veins, aromas of licorice and strawberry jam. Ambious and complex bouquet, with hints of chocolate, truffles and blackberries. Enveloping, structured and elegant taste, with a silky tannic texture. A perfect Barolo to combine with important and vigorous dishes, capable of aging for several years in its cellar and evolving day after day with new aromas and flavors. A wine of emotions. THE WINERY

Giacosa Bruno

The company represents a unique reference point for the entire Langhe area, in Piedmont, synonymous with territoriality and tradition. Founded in the early 1900s in the commune of Neive, it was not until the early 1980s, with the purchase of the Falletto vineyard in the commune of Serralunga, that the Bruno Giacosa labels began to establish themselves on the wine market. Cultivation takes place on a daily basis, and all with the utmost care and attention to detail. Today, the extension of the vineyards reaches 50 hectares, including many acquisitions that have been made at successive times since the foundation, to offer a great variety of incomparable red wines. The mid-1990s saw the first vinification of the Asili and Rabajà crus, following which the great Barbaresco came into the company. Extreme fidelity to the terroir and its versions, precise and enveloping expressions of Nebbiolo. The Langhe tradition from A to Z.
