Giuseppe Rinaldi’s Barolo Brunate is a high-quality red wine produced in the Brunate cru, situated between the municipalities of Barolo and La Morra. It is made from Nebbiolo grapes vinified using traditional methods. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in wooden vats with a long maceration period, followed by 42 months of ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels. Rinaldi embraces a classic winemaking style, aiming to fully express the character of the terroir.
Rinaldi’s Barolo Brunate has an intense garnet-red colour that develops orange hues with ageing. On the nose, it is complex and elegant, offering aromas of ripe cherry, violet, mint, spices and tobacco. On the palate, it is structured and austere, with well-integrated tannins, good freshness and a long finish, making it suitable for long-term ageing.
Ideal with substantial dishes such as roasts, braised meats, game, truffles and mature cheeses, particularly Castelmagno. Perfect for elegant dinners, special occasions or moments of reflection, it is also a wine for the cellar, capable of evolving and improving with time.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 18–20°C.
