TASTING NOTES

Production

Giuseppe Rinaldi’s Barolo Brunate is a high-quality red wine produced in the Brunate cru, situated between the municipalities of Barolo and La Morra. It is made from Nebbiolo grapes vinified using traditional methods. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in wooden vats with a long maceration period, followed by 42 months of ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels. Rinaldi embraces a classic winemaking style, aiming to fully express the character of the terroir.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Rinaldi’s Barolo Brunate has an intense garnet-red colour that develops orange hues with ageing. On the nose, it is complex and elegant, offering aromas of ripe cherry, violet, mint, spices and tobacco. On the palate, it is structured and austere, with well-integrated tannins, good freshness and a long finish, making it suitable for long-term ageing.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal with substantial dishes such as roasts, braised meats, game, truffles and mature cheeses, particularly Castelmagno. Perfect for elegant dinners, special occasions or moments of reflection, it is also a wine for the cellar, capable of evolving and improving with time.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 18–20°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Giuseppe Rinaldi

The company's commitment and passion have continued for over fifty years. Wine and its production have always influenced the life of the family, which passes down secrets and traditions without losing sight of the most modern techniques and major innovations in the field. The study of the territory and the best ways to enhance its unique characteristics has allowed the company to become one of the most important realities not only in Valdadige Trentina Veronese, where it is located, but throughout Trentino-Alto Adige. The winery's vineyards, in fact, extend throughout the Adige valley, between Trentino itself and the Bardolino area, towards Verona. The unique microclimate of the area and its peculiar characteristics lead to the creation of wines rich in character and elegance, all worth trying. Name and address of manufacturer/distributor: GIWINE SRL Via Nazionale 9/1, 39040, Salorno sulla strada del vino (BZ).
