TASTING NOTES

This red wine is a blend of native Veronese grape varieties, Corvina and Rondinella, and can be produced only in the province of Verona. The two grape varieties are grown on land adjacent to the winery in Castelnuovo del Garda. Grapes are harvested in the third week of September and fermentation and maturation are carried out in stainless steel. Only natural yeasts are used, malolactic fermentation is carried out spontaneously and racking done in the open air to encourage the natural development of the wine. It is bottled without filtration and remains in the bottle for 3 months. Bardolino Poggio alle Grazie is a ruby-red wine with purple reflections. Cranberries, wild strawberries and raspberries, peony and juniper are the first aromas to hit the nose. Structured and thick on the palate, with an almondy finish. An all-round red, ideal for pairing with traditional dishes or a plate of cured meats. Read more Read less
