THE WINERYBrigaldara
With its characteristic 16th century villa surrounded by magnificent vineyards, the Brigaldara winery in San Floriano, owned by the Cesari family since 1928, dominates the Vallata di Marano, one of the four valleys of the historic Valpolicella area.
The secret of these Veneto wine producers lies in the winemaking process, a crucial element of the Brigaldara identity. Supported by significant wine-makers such as Roberto Ferrarini, one of the most important innovators in the history of Amarone, the members of the Cesari family have in fact adopted important innovations for their production facilities and the cellar. Lamberto and Antonio, the current owners, encourage a specialised layout of the vineyards with constant love and passion, based on the varieties best suited to each area of their 120 hectares.
So much attention makes the Brigaldara winery stand out with its unique biodiversity, respected and enhanced through sustainable practices, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, which allow them to bottle a varied wine heritage.
