TASTING NOTES

Production

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Vigneto Monte Sant’Urbano is made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, grown in the Sant’Urbano vineyard in the Fumane valley. After rigorous selection, the grapes are naturally dried for around four months before being vinified. The wine is then aged for approximately three years in large wooden barrels.

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, we see a wine with an intense ruby colour and some garnet highlights. The nose bursts with aromas of small red fruits, cinnamon, rhubarb, cocoa and liquorice. On the palate, it is warm and structured, full-bodied, with firm tannins and an astonishing smoothness and persistence.

Occasion and Pairing

Try pairing it with blue-veined cheeses, game and stewed red meat.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.

THE WINERY

Speri

In 2012 the SRC Vini winery was born from an idea of Rori, Cinzia and Sandra wine lovers and lovers of the territory of the northern side of Etna, with the project of creating a wine that respects and reflects the territory of the Sicilian island. The acronym means exactly "Being there", defining the very nature of the wines produced that exactly reflect the territory of origin. The work in the vineyard is limited to the essential, the land is worked a few times during the year and all the work is done manually, to be as little interventionist as possible on the wines. Name and address producer/distributor: SRC Vini - Contrada Calderara - 95036 Randazzo (CT) - Italia. The products of this cellar should be stored in a cool and dry place away from heat sources.
