TASTING NOTES

Production

The grapes for this Amarone Valpolicella Classico are meticulously hand-harvested and dried until mid-January in the drying rooms. They are traditional varieties from the Valpolicella region: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara. The fermentation occurs in two separate stages: it begins with a cold maceration lasting 20 days, followed by the actual alcoholic fermentation for the next 30 days. The wine then ages in 500-liter French and American oak tonneaux for about 30 months.

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, it shows a beautiful intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose bursts with aromas of both fresh and jammy red and black fruits, finishing with a pleasantly persistent balsamic note. On the palate, it is powerful yet elegant, showcasing its softness and persistence, with a noticeable aromatic aftertaste complemented by the spices from the wood aging.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal for pairing with red meat dishes, especially those that are slow-cooked, it will be your go-to Sunday wine, whether you’re with family or friends.
