Production

This Terlaner is made from 72% Pinot Bianco, 28% Chardonnay and 2% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, which undergo gentle whole-bunch pressing, must clarification and natural cold settling. It then undergoes slow fermentation in large oak barrels, malolactic fermentation and 12 months’ ageing on the lees in traditional wooden barrels. Energy value (E): 340 kJ - 82 kcal/100 ml

Organoleptic Characteristics

Grande Cuvée presents itself in the glass as a brilliant straw-yellow colour; rich and complex, it expresses aromas of citrus, white pepper, aromatic herbs and a delicate smoky note. Its elegance and excellent balance rest on a fine, substantial structure and a refined texture, which give it a unique character. Its exceptional persistence is not merely a matter of pleasantness, but above all represents the purest expression of a mineral terroir unique in the world.

Occasion and Pairing

It pairs well with a slice of bonito cooked in oil, or, for a meat dish, rabbit stewed with olives.

Terre d'Aenòr is a new winery in Franciacorta. Recently established in 2018 by the Bianchi family, the company has 42 hectares of property spread over seven municipalities in Franciacorta. Divided into 26 plots, Terre d'Aenòr has an allocation strategy that allows each vineyard to receive the proper care and attention, taking advantage of the most favourable soil and climate conditions for its growth. The grapes are cultivated organically, with a view to sustainable viticulture and mainly include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and red grapes such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery is led by the young Eleonora Bianchi, with a team of experts working alongside her to take care of the winery and vineyard. The geometric composition of Terre d'Aenòr wine labels refers to the verticality of the perlage and is a tribute to the works of Dadamaino, a central figure in the artistic avant-garde of the 1950s.
