The Pinot Noir, predominant in the blend, is vinified as a rosé, and only after fermentation is it combined with Chardonnay grapes, which undergo a similar process but are vinified in white. Once the cuvée is formed, liqueur de tirage is added, and the bottle rests on the lees for about two years. 100 ml: E=335 kJ/80 kcal
The resulting product has an elegant rosé color with a silver edge, enhanced by a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is filled with notes of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, resting on a floral bed of rose petals, leading to a finish that reveals hints of bread crust. On the palate, it is inviting and creamy, echoing the red berries perceived on the nose, with a lingering finish that leans toward herbal notes.
Athesis Rosé is the perfect bottle for a unique aperitif with friends, but it can also easily complement a dinner featuring substantial dishes like fish and shellfish.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10-12°C.
