TASTING NOTES

Production

Alta Langa Dosaggio Zero is made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay cultivated at over 700 meters above sea level in Bossolasco

Organoleptic Characteristics

Elegance and minerality stand out in the glass from the very first moments. With an intense straw-yellow color and bright, captivating golden reflections, the perlage of this Piedmontese sparkling wine is extremely fine and of excellent intensity. On the nose, there are aromas of chalk, lightly toasted yeast, dried fruit, and star anise. On the palate, it is very mineral, dry, and crisp, with a citrus and white almond finish.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal for aperitifs and throughout the meal, it is especially recommended with hard Piedmontese cheeses.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8/10°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Contratto

A profound care for the territory and local traditions, an ancient history and constant production, always attentive to new technologies. The Contratto winery is a guarantee when you are looking for exceptional Piedmontese wines. Giuseppe Contratto founded his winery in 1867, when he began making wine from Moscato grapes from the Monferrato area, producing one of the first Italian sparkling wines refermented in the bottle. Also in those years the Contratto family began the construction of the historic cellar, which was then completed in the twentieth century. It was around 1910 that Contratto wines began to conquer foreign markets, becoming synonymous with prestige and quality in the world of sparkling wines, so much so that the company became the official supplier of the Vatican, the Belgian royal house and the royal family of Savoy. At the basis of the philosophy of the Rivetti family, there is the urgency of looking forward without ever losing contact with one's roots. The objective that Contratto sets itself is to tell through a glass of Alta Langa the great potential of the Piedmontese hills in terms of the Classic Method, taking care of the vineyards every day in order to bring exceptional grapes to the cellar. Discover the complete selection of Contratto on Signorvino wines and let yourself be won over by the authentic taste of Piedmont. Explore all Piedmontese wines. Name and address of producer/distributor: Contratto - Via Giovanni Battista Giuliani, 54 - 14053 Canelli (AT). The products from this cellar should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
