Recioto della Valpolicella
Recioto della Valpolicella is a sweet raisin wine that is obtained from the typical Valpolicella vines Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone, and small amounts of Forselina, Negrara and Oseleta. The production area includes the foothills of Verona, from Lake Garda to the Vicenza border. This wine’s sweet and intense aroma can be attributed to the long fermentation of dried grapes it is made from, with a drying process that can last from 100 to 120 days after harvest in specially ventilated lofts that protect the grapes from humidity and mould.
