The Grawü winery has been certified organic since 2018. Vinification is natural, with no added oenological products, and sulphur dioxide is limited to 50 mg per litre. The stated aim is to bring the true essence of the grape to the glass, and its finest expression of terroir and organoleptic characteristics. For this reason, the grapes are left in contact with the fermenting must for varying lengths of time, depending on requirements. A Pinot Grigio that defies convention, yet wins you over from the very first sip. Made from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes, which come from a limestone terroir at 350–500 metres above sea level, the grapes ferment in large wooden barrels and macerate for up to 5 days. The wine is aged on the lees in large oak barrels for 12 months.
Red fruits, hints of wood and limestone, wrapped in a cloak of fine tannins that lend freshness and length on the palate.
A wine that pairs well with many dishes and invites you to enjoy good company.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10–12°C.
